The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is the professional leadership body for pharmacists and pharmacy in England, Scotland and Wales. Members can call on a wide range of expertise and support from the Society's staff to help in their professional life.

National Pharmaceutical Association
The National Pharmaceutical Association is the national body of Britain’s community pharmacies. It was formed in 1921 to champion the interests of pharmacy owners and promote, improve and protect an essential service to the public.

British Medical Association (BMA)
The BMA is a membership organisation that represents and lobbies on behalf of doctors.

Royal College of Nursing (RCN)
The RCN represents nurses and nursing, promotes excellence in practice and shapes health policies.

Reporting Side-effects of Medicines

Yellow Card scheme
Allows members of the public to report suspected side-effects of medicines. The scheme is vital in helping the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) monitor the safety of the medicines that are on the market.
